ISPOR Europe 2025: first look at the conference program

Marking its 30th anniversary, ISPOR—The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research will once again bring together patients, payers, providers, regulators, and industry leaders at its European conference, taking place this year in Glasgow on November 9–12, 2025. The theme of ISPOR Europe 2025, 'Powering Value and Access Through Patient-Centered Collaboration,' sets the tone for four days of practical, patient-focused discussions aimed at supporting healthcare access decisions across Europe.
To help the community prepare for the meeting, we are sharing an early preview of the program – highlighting what to expect, the key themes set to take center stage, and the sessions likely to shape conversations in Glasgow. As a media partner for ISPOR Europe 2025, The Evidence Base will also publish more detailed previews in the weeks ahead. follow us on LinkedIn and register for free to become a member of The Evidence Base community and receive the latest news as it is published.
Program highlights
ISPOR Europe 2025 is one of the largest international meetings focused on health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), health technology assessment (HTA), real-world evidence (RWE), market access, and related areas. The program, featuring a broad range of learning formats including plenaries, spotlight sessions, issue panels, workshops, and breakout discussions, is being developed under the guidance of three co-chairs, whose backgrounds span patient advocacy, clinical research, and healthcare investment, providing a broad range of perspectives:
- Maria Dutarte (European Patients’ Academy on Therapeutic Innovation – EUPATI)
- Denise Lacombe (European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer – EORTC)
- Joep Muijrers (Gilde Healthcare Partners)
Sessions on patient-centered research
With growing recognition that patients’ perspectives, preferences, and lived experiences are essential to shaping meaningful healthcare decisions, these sessions explore how evidence can be generated and applied in ways that reflect what matters most to patients. From the use of patient experience data in regulatory and access decisions to advances in preference elicitation, digital health, and pragmatic trials, the program highlights how embedding the patient voice can strengthen both the relevance and impact of evidence across Europe.
