Becaris Publishing is dedicated to advancing the fields of real-world evidence (RWE), health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), market access, patient engagement, and related disciplines through three core products: The Evidence Base®, the Journal of Comparative Effectiveness Research, and the Journal of Patient Centricity.
Established in 2022, Becaris Publishing delivers high-quality, trusted content that supports informed decision-making and improved patient outcomes globally. With a focus on integrity, innovation, and collaboration, we aim to be a leading voice in evidence-based healthcare, connecting researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and patients.
The Evidence Base is designed to keep the RWE, HEOR, and wider healthcare communities informed of the latest developments in the field. Since its launch in 2019, The Evidence Base has provided timely news, expert opinion, and practical insights across key topics including real-world data (RWD), health technology assessment (HTA), drug pricing, and evidence generation.
The Journal of Comparative Effectiveness Research (JCER) is a leading peer-reviewed, open access journal publishing high-quality research on healthcare interventions. With comparative effectiveness at its core, JCER publishes studies that inform decision-making across all areas of medicine. The journal highlights patient-centered outcomes, HEOR, RWE, and innovation in study design and methodology, welcoming research that evaluates the effectiveness, safety, and economic value of treatment options, alongside articles on market access, health equity, and the practical application of evidence in clinical and policy settings. Established in 2012, JCER is indexed in major databases including Web of Science, PubMed Central, MEDLINE, DOAJ, and Scopus, and has an Impact Factor of 2.5 (2024). JCER also offers a rapid publication option for authors seeking accelerated review and publication.
The Journal of Patient Centricity (JPC) expands our commitment to elevating the patient voice in healthcare research and decision-making. The peer-reviewed, open access journal provides a dedicated platform for high-quality, practice-relevant content focused on patient experience, patient engagement, patient-reported outcomes, patient preference research, shared decision-making, and the integration of patient perspectives across the healthcare lifecycle. By bringing together contributions from patients, advocates, researchers, clinicians, industry, and policy stakeholders, JPC supports more inclusive, person-centered approaches to evidence generation, healthcare delivery, and policy development. JPC is published in partnership with the Patient Centric Sampling Interest Group CIC.
