Countdown to ISPOR Europe 2024

The ISPOR—The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) Europe 2024 conference will take place November 17–20, 2024 in Barcelona, Spain and focus on the theme, ‘Generating Evidence Toward Health and Well-Being’.
Co-chaired by Yannis Natsis (European Social Insurance Platform [ESIP], Belgium), Patrice Verpillat (European Medicines Agency, The Netherlands) and Anne Willemesen (Dutch National Healthcare Institute, The Netherlands), attendees have a choice of learning formats, including Spotlight Sessions, Workshops, Issue Panels, Educational Symposia and Exhibit Hall Theaters, covering 12 different topics within HEOR. A highlight for me will be Exhibit Hall Theater Session (Tuesday November 19, 12:45pm – 1:45pm) one “Using Generative AI Methods for Evidence Generation and Health Technology Assessment: Perspectives From NICE and Industry” where Bray will be joined by Stephen Duffield (NICE, UK) to discuss the evolving capabilities of generative AI, including large language models like ChatGPT, in RWE generation and healthcare decision-making.
