Editor in Chief

  • Tim Woolley – Inuvi Diagnostics, UK

A multidisciplinary biomedical scientist by training, Tim began his career at the Institute of Pathology and Tropical Medicine at RAF Halton and completed his MSc at the Royal Naval Hospital Haslar. After leaving the forces, Tim has worked primarily in the private sector, co-founding Inuvi Diagnostics in 2018. Inuvi Diagnostics was the first laboratory in the UK to achieve ISO 15189 accreditation, including a flexible scope for capillary blood testing. The laboratory’s research focuses on whole-process verification, patient-centric collection methods, sample stability, and the use of capillary blood testing for mass population screening. Tim has published widely on these subjects and is passionate about patient-centric testing. Tim is a Director of the PCSIG and a member of the UKLabMed Patient Centric Pre-analytics Special Interest Group.
