Guardant Health and ConcertAI to advance cancer research with multi-modal RWD platform

The collaboration integrates clinical data with genomic and epigenomic profiling to provide researchers with insights into cancer biology, therapy resistance, and tumor evolution.

Guardant Health, a precision oncology company, and ConcertAI, an oncology-focused real-world evidence (RWE) and AI technology organization, have announced a new strategic collaboration. This partnership introduces the first multi-modal real-world data (RWD) platform, integrating patient electronic health record (EHR) data with genomic and epigenomic tumor profiling to support cancer research across all stages of care.

Cancer research often involves complex factors, including genetic mutations, prior therapies, and the development of drug resistance. The new RWD platform will offer a robust foundation for understanding these complexities by integrating data from multiple liquid biopsies and advanced tumor profiling. This integration provides biopharmaceutical researchers with critical insights into cancer biology, therapy resistance, and tumor evolution.

The collaboration combines Guardant Health’s genomic and epigenomic profiling expertise with ConcertAI’s database of 5.5 million EHRs. Guardant Health’s Guardant Infinity smart liquid biopsy platform, which features a methylome panel to analyze unique tumor methylation patterns, allows for identification of genetic and epigenetic factors driving tumor growth and resistance mechanisms over time.
