Atropos Health and Kythera Labs to accelerate oncology research with RWD

Following a series of recent developments, Atropos Health has entered into a multi-year agreement with Kythera Labs to enhance oncology research and care by expanding access to high-quality real-world data (RWD) through the Atropos Evidence Network.
As the first step in a broader collaboration, Kythera Labs will contribute its Oncology Event asset to the Atropos Evidence™ Network. This dataset offers detailed information across the oncology care pathway, including patient interactions, treatment decisions, and provider activity. Developed from Kythera’s Remastered Source Data and structured using a dynamic common data model, the asset is designed to offer high data fidelity and analytic readiness.
“Growing the multimodal oncology network increases the opportunity for Atropos Evidence Network members to find more 'fit-for-purpose' data,” said Dr Brigham Hyde, CEO and co-founder of Atropos Health. “Together with Kythera Labs, we will better enable healthcare organizations to accelerate and improve clinical decision-making, clinical research productivity and clinical trial site selection and recruitment with novel evidence-based insights.”
The Atropos Evidence Network is built on GENEVA OS™, a federated platform that facilitates secure connections between data contributors and researchers without transferring de-identified data. Members can submit clinical or research questions and receive a retrospective observational study in response, typically within 48 hours. The platform includes tools such as the Real-World Data Score® (RWDS) and Real-World Fitness Score® (RWFS) to support dataset selection based on relevance and suitability for the specific question.
According to Jeff McDonald, CEO and co-founder of Kythera Labs,
“Partnerships like this are integral to making progress within the field of oncology. By collaborating with Atropos Health and providing access to our enriched and analytics-ready data assets, we hope to help Evidence Network users reach answers faster and more cost-efficiently.”
The partnership also provides feedback to data contributors, offering insights into data quality, usage, and performance within the network. This supports ongoing refinement and broader use of RWD assets for healthcare and life sciences applications.
