Merck teams up with Atropos Health to generate rapid real-world evidence insights

Merck and Atropos Health are collaborating to integrate advanced AI tools for rapid real-world data analysis and accelerate innovation in drug development. 

Merck & Co. has announced a partnership with Atropos Health to enhance its capabilities in real-world evidence (RWE) generation. This partnership focuses on replicating studies and delivering rapid real-world data (RWD) analytics. By utilizing Atropos Health's tools and expertise, the initiative aims to create high-quality, publication-ready RWD studies within 48 hours.  

Under the agreement, Merck will integrate Atropos Health services, including the GENEVA OS™ (Generative Evidence Acceleration Operating System), into its analytics and evidence generation infrastructure. GENEVA OS connects users to the Atropos Evidence Network, which encompasses over 300 million patient records. The Real World Fitness Score®, a feature of GENEVA OS, assesses the relevance of data to ensure it meets specific evidence requirements. Merck will also utilize Alexandria™, a repository containing tens of thousands of studies that can be rerun with localized data to generate new insights. 

The collaboration further incorporates tools like Green Button™ and ChatRWD™, enabling users to query data and generate studies in minutes. For technical users, Forge™, a low-code platform, facilitates rapid cohort creation to support diverse research efforts.
