OneMedNet grows real-world data offering in healthcare AI with Medcase partnership

OneMedNet has announced a collaboration with Medcase to expand into the $1.5 billion healthcare data annotation market. The collaboration combines real-world data (RWD) capabilities with medical annotation services to meet rising demand for high-quality datasets in healthcare AI.
The agreement brings together Medcase’s network of more than 15,000 healthcare professionals with OneMedNet’s proprietary iRWD™ platform and nationwide provider network. By linking annotation expertise with access to regulatory-grade, de-identified RWD spanning clinical records, imaging, and electronic health records (EHRs), the two companies intend to create a differentiated offering in the healthcare AI ecosystem.
The move marks OneMedNet’s entry into the healthcare data annotation sector, a market valued at $1.5 billion in 2025 and expected to reach $2.8 billion by 2030. Industry growth has been accelerating, driven by rising demand for privacy-compliant datasets to train AI systems used in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and medical technology. High-profile developments, such as Meta’s $14.8 billion investment in Scale AI, have further reshaped the landscape and highlighted the scale of interest in this area.
For OneMedNet, the collaboration represents an opportunity to expand beyond its core RWD business into a complementary and recurring revenue stream. Aaron Green, CEO and president of OneMedNet, explained:
“This partnership positions OneMedNet at the center of the healthcare data value chain. By combining our iRWD™ platform with Medcase’s annotation expertise, we are extremely well positioned to serve a large unmet market need, unlocking new growth channels that directly strengthen our long-term revenue trajectory.”
Medcase said it expects the agreement to strengthen its service offering by providing clients with broader access to data resources.
“The demand for specialized healthcare annotation is accelerating faster than ever,” said Niv Shochat, CEO of Medcase. “By aligning with OneMedNet, we can now offer our clients access to unparalleled RWD, creating a defensible position in one of AI’s most valuable verticals.”
Industry observers point to wider momentum in the sector, with healthcare-specific data providers reporting strong workforce growth. Healthcare is seen as one of the largest and most regulated markets for AI training data, setting it apart from annotation services in other sectors such as automotive, retail, and financial technology.
