New collaboration between Atropos Health and Databricks aims to accelerate precision medicine using RWD

The alliance will integrate AI-powered data intelligence and federated evidence networks to accelerate real-world evidence (RWE) generation and support improved patient outcomes.
The partnership combines Atropos Health’s Evidence™ Network, a large, federated healthcare data network containing more than 300 million patient records, with Databricks’ Delta Sharing technology. Delta Sharing enables the secure and governed exchange of live data across multiple platforms, cloud environments, and regions. By building on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, the collaboration aims to support clinicians and researchers in generating insights to inform drug discovery and potentially shorten the time from symptom to treatment.
Dr Brigham Hyde, CEO and co-founder of Atropos Health, highlighted the importance of generating high-quality, actionable evidence from large-scale healthcare data:
“Turning data into actionable evidence rapidly and accurately will accelerate the pace of innovation in healthcare. By responsibly and compliantly linking massive data sets in healthcare, we will drive not only better outcomes for patients, but a seamless user experience for healthcare researchers and providers.”
The partnership also expands the use of Atropos Health’s GENEVA OS™, an operating system designed for rapid healthcare evidence generation. New capabilities, including Nodal Patient Deidentification and Query Time Interval Encoding, are being deployed across the federated Evidence Network. These features enable healthcare organizations to address gaps in patients’ longitudinal records from participating sources, while maintaining data deidentification, security, and control.
Commenting on the partnership, Michael Sanky, Vice President of Healthcare & Life Sciences GTM at Databricks, said:
“Atropos Health exemplifies the transformative potential of building on Databricks, and it’s incredible to watch its adoption among healthcare and life sciences organizations who are excited to harness the full power of their data.”
Through this collaboration, healthcare and life sciences organizations will have access to GENEVA OS™ and the Atropos Evidence™ Network as a unified solution for RWE generation within their internal cloud environments. This integrated approach is intended to help organizations close evidence gaps, enable more data-informed care delivery, and support research that contributes to medical innovation.
