Nested Knowledge and EviValue collaborate on AI-enabled evidence synthesis and HEOR

Nested Knowledge and EviValue have announced a strategic partnership combining AI-enabled evidence synthesis with health economics and outcomes research, economic modeling, and real-world evidence, with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific region.

Nested Knowledge and EviValue have revealed details of their new strategic alliance focused on integrating AI-enabled evidence synthesis with health economic modeling and related evidence-generation activities. The collaboration combines Nested Knowledge’s evidence-synthesis platform with EviValue’s work in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), real-world evidence (RWE), and economic modeling.

With the ISPOR Asia Pacific Summit 2026 taking place in Bangkok this week, the announcement comes at a timely point for discussions around health innovation, affordability, and access across the region. The partnership has a particular focus on Asia-Pacific, where EviValue will serve as an implementation and solutions partner for Nested Knowledge, providing platform implementation, training, evidence-synthesis services, and scientific and methodological support.

Nested Knowledge’s AI-enabled, human-guided platform covers literature searches, screening, data extraction, critical appraisal, evidence synthesis, visualization, and reporting. The partnership is intended to connect these evidence-synthesis capabilities with subsequent activities including HEOR, economic modeling, health technology assessment (HTA), and RWE. On the announcement, Kevin Kallmes, CEO and Co-Founder of Nested Knowledge said:

Asia and the Pacific region generally has a rapidly growing healthcare, life sciences, and research ecosystem, with increasing demand for rigorous, transparent, and technology-enabled evidence generation.

Kallmes explained that the partnership would extend access to the company’s evidence-synthesis platform while providing organizations with local implementation and methodological support.

Another focus is connecting evidence synthesis with subsequent analyses. Literature reviews and economic evaluations are often conducted separately, requiring information to be transferred from evidence reviews into analytical models. The companies plan to develop workflows in which structured evidence generated through Nested Knowledge can inform activities including epidemiological assessments, model parameterization, budget impact, and cost-effectiveness analyses, and HTA submissions.

EviValue is also developing EviModel, an AI-assisted, human-guided health economic modeling solution within its EviValue Insight Platform. According to the company, the solution is being designed to support processes from evidence identification and model-input extraction through model conceptualization, parameterization, simulation, validation, and reporting, while retaining human oversight of methodological choices, assumptions, and final outputs.

The role of human oversight was also emphasized by Dr Phani Veeranki, Scientific and Clinical Advisor to EviValue:

AI can accelerate end-to-end evidence workflows, but its value depends on the quality of the underlying data, appropriate methodological choices, and expert interpretation.

The companies said the partnership is intended to support organizations across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, academic and healthcare sectors using evidence synthesis, economic analysis, and related evidence-generation approaches.
