The new website is available on the Atypon Literatum platform, a leading online publishing and website development platform home to 32 million articles from over 15,000 journals on more than 900 publication websites
At the beginning of February, the Journal of Comparative Effectiveness Research (JCER) completed its transition to a new dedicate website, Becaris Publishing, offering a dynamic and user-friendly experience providing access to the latest advances in this critical area of medical research. Leveraging Literatum, the online publishing and website development platform from Atypon, the new site strengthens the journal’s commitment to ensuring accessibility and discoverability in medical publishing. All content published on the new site is available on an open access basis, providing readers with full and immediate access to some of the most important research content in the real-world evidence (RWE), comparative effectiveness and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) field. The new site also makes content more visually engaging and easier to navigate for the wide range of readers who now use the journal, including healthcare professionals, researchers, and the general public.
JCER, published by Becaris Publishing Limited, is at the forefront of comparative effectiveness research, which aims to understand the relative benefits and risks of different treatments for a given medical condition. The journal features peer-reviewed articles and research papers, covering a wide range of specialties and topics, and is an invaluable resource for anyone interested in staying up-to-date on the latest developments in health outcomes research.
Developing the new platform was a significant investment for Becaris Publishing and outlines the company’s continued focus on developing JCER as a leading go-to resource for the wider RWE and HEOR community. Commenting on the new site, Laura Dormer, Co-Founder & Editorial Director of Becaris Publishing explained:
"It has been great to see the audience for JCER grow since I launched the journal more than a decade ago. I am delighted that our new Atypon website has now launched, providing our readers with an exemplary user experience and allowing them to easily discover the high-quality content JCER publishes in the important field of HEOR and RWE."
Phil Garner, Co-Founder & CEO of Becaris Publishing continued:
“We wanted a long-term technology partner who we could trust and were familiar with, so Atypon fit the bill. The Literatum platform provides best-in-class capabilities, and the self-service tools for publishing and website upkeep mean we can manage the site quickly and independently.”
Nash Pal, Director of Client Management at Atypon said “Atypon was delighted to have been chosen to work with Becaris Publishing at the very start of this venture. It was a pleasure to engage with a team that was driven to achieve the best for its community - decisions were made quickly and efficiently, helping to lead to a quick turnaround of the publishing platform. Atypon was asked to deliver a cost-effective solution that did not cut back on capabilities or flexibility for growth. I’m happy to say that it’s been a great success. I wish Becaris continued success in their mission and goals for this new endeavor and look forward to a successful long-term relationship. ”
Becaris Publishing is dedicated to providing the highest quality medical information and resources, and the new website for the Journal of Comparative Effectiveness Research is a testament to this commitment. The company is proud to serve as a trusted source of information for healthcare professionals and looks forward to continuing to provide valuable resources for years to come.
