Cortechs.ai and ALZ-NET to link AI imaging with RWD to advance Alzheimer’s care

A new collaboration between Cortechs.ai and ALZ-NET combines advanced neuroimaging technology with real-world clinical data to enhance monitoring and safety for patients receiving anti-amyloid therapies for Alzheimer’s disease.
Cortechs.ai has announced a strategic collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Network for Treatment and Diagnostics (ALZ-NET) aimed at improving clinical decision-making and care delivery for people living with Alzheimer’s disease. The partnership combines Cortechs.ai’s AI-powered imaging tool, NeuroQuant® for ARIA, with ALZ-NET’s extensive real-world data (RWD) infrastructure to inform treatment strategies and contribute to evolving guidelines.
Developed to assist in the surveillance of amyloid-related imaging abnormalities (ARIA), NeuroQuant® for ARIA provides automated quantification and longitudinal tracking of FLAIR and T2GRE/SWI lesions – brain abnormalities visible via MRI that are associated with treatment-related side effects. It is the only clinically validated tool that quantifies cerebral microbleeds and superficial siderosis on both scan types, while also detecting cerebral edema to offer a comprehensive AI-assisted solution for monitoring patients on anti-amyloid immunotherapies.
“Combining advanced neuroimaging analytics RWD is a critical step in optimizing safety and monitoring for Alzheimer's patients,” said Dr Ana Franceschi, member of both Cortechs.ai’s Medical Advisory Board and ALZ-NET’s Imaging Work Group. “This collaboration holds great promise for clinicians and patients alike.”
ALZ-NET, operated by the American College of Radiology and supported by the Alzheimer’s Association, is a voluntary healthcare provider-enrolled network collecting longitudinal clinical and imaging RWD from patients receiving newly approved Alzheimer’s therapies. Its goal is to generate RWD on the long-term safety and effectiveness of these treatments across diverse healthcare settings.
As part of the agreement, Cortechs.ai will offer discounted access to NeuroQuant® for ARIA to participating ALZ-NET sites. This move is expected to broaden uptake across a wide range of care environments and enhance monitoring capabilities.
“Alzheimer's disease is a prevalent and devastating condition that touches millions of families,” explained Kyle Frye, CEO of Cortechs.ai. “With NeuroQuant® for ARIA, we're giving clinicians the tools they need to make smarter, safer decisions, and by connecting with ALZ-NET's powerful data network, we can collectively advance treatment practices for the entire field.”
