Arcturis and University College London Hospitals establish long-term relationship to enhance RWD generation

Arcturis has announced a multi-year agreement with University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) to expand its Real-World Data (RWD) Network, aiming to advance the development of disease-specific datasets from anonymized patient data and generate advanced insights to improve healthcare.

Arcturis, a UK leader in precision health data curation, has signed a long-term agreement with UCLH to expand its RWD Network. Serving a population of over 1.3 million across six hospital sites, UCLH is one of the UK’s most research-active NHS trusts. Its inclusion in the RWD Network strengthens Arcturis’ growing ecosystem, which is designed to generate actionable insights from regulatory-grade, anonymized patient data.

Arcturis’ expanding RWD Network draws on multi-modal datasets from partner NHS hospitals and research institutions to reflect the diversity of the UK population. The research database produces real-world evidence (RWE) insights that support decision-making across drug discovery, clinical development, and post-approval studies, with the goal of improving patient outcomes. By joining this initiative, UCLH will support the development of disease-specific datasets across areas such as oncology, neurology, cardiology, and metabolic disease.

Alex Snow, CEO of Arcturis, highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership in expanding their capabilities. “The addition of UCLH to our Real-World Data Network builds on our recent momentum as we expand our ability to curate deep, highly enriched multi-modal health data that is representative of the UK population,” he said. “These curated, regulatory-grade health data are used by Arcturis to generate precision insights to support a range of activities from health technology appraisals to post-approval safety studies.”

“This partnership will enable us to use UCLH’s extensive clinical expertise and patient data to contribute to the development of new medicines that can make a genuine impact on patient lives,” said Tim Jaggard, Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer at UCLH. “Arcturis has a track record of working with NHS trusts and research organizations across the UK to help them to develop regulatory grade research datasets that when combined can deliver meaningful benefits for patients.”
